It seems like I haven't posted anything in...well nearly a year. And it pretty much is true. Why? Well the reason is I pretty much had this massive art block for, pretty much, a year. It kind of sucked. Suddenly I am drawing and painting again. Whatever was bothering me seems to have cleared up.
So if you haven't noticed most of my art has been reorganized. Why, you may ask? It is largely due to the fact that I wanted a fresh start. So much of the artwork I had done was old, student or my little pony related works. I wanted to start 2017 with a clean slate. There are still two folders with older works, and that is because they contain two of the things I will probably be working with a lot. Two of my characters I enjoy drawing fall into these work, or people like to commission these. So, both Flitters and Foxfans and Fox like creatures stay put. Other than that, new start.
Does this mean no more pony art? Most likely, yes. I'm just not into the fandom as I once was. I am back to where I was before the craze hit. Nostalgic for the ponies of my past and I enjoy creating art sculptures on the g3 and g1's. I may draw some when at conventions, but that will be about it, unless people commission me, or I want to redo an old piece.
What will you be drawing? I sell mostly at Comic and Anime conventions now. When fan art does appear, it will be from those genres, particularly what is popular and sell-able. Going through my old art, however, I noticed an overwhelming load of fan art. Like, seriously, it was almost all fan art! So I will be trying to focus more on original art.
For the longest time I was a comment hound. I really wanted to know what you thought of my art. I was desperate to see what you said. Honestly, now I don't really care. Favorite if you want too, comment if you have something to say. In the end, I know put it out there to be seen, but anymore, I don't need my ego stroked. I hope you enjoy what will be coming in the next few days
